These Terms of Service govern your use of Vikn Studio Ltd's services. By engaging us for a project or using our website, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Our Services
Vikn Studio Ltd provides web design, web development, Webflow builds, custom software development, CMS setup, SEO optimisation, and related digital services. The specific scope of each project is documented in writing before work begins.
3. Proposals and Acceptance
Projects start with a written proposal containing scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees. A project is confirmed only upon receipt of a signed proposal or written acceptance by email, together with any required deposit payment. We reserve the right to withdraw a proposal before acceptance.
4. Fees and Payment
A deposit of 50% of the total project fee is due upon acceptance of the proposal, with the remaining balance due prior to final delivery or launch. Invoices are due within 14 days of issue.
We may charge interest on late payments at 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
5. Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide content, assets, feedback, and approvals promptly. Delays in providing materials may extend project timelines at no fault of Vikn Studio Ltd. You confirm that your materials do not violate any third-party intellectual property rights, and you agree to indemnify us against any claims arising from such materials.
6. Revisions and Scope Changes
Each proposal specifies the number of included revision rounds. Requests for changes beyond the agreed scope, or additional work not included in the original proposal, will be quoted and charged separately. Written approval is required before any out-of-scope work begins.
7. Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of full and final payment, all intellectual property rights in the completed deliverables (including design and code) transfer to you. Before payment is received in full, Vikn Studio Ltd retains ownership of all work produced.
We may use completed work for portfolio and promotional purposes unless you request otherwise in writing. Third-party assets remain subject to their original licences.
8. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any sensitive business information disclosed during the course of a project and not to disclose it to third parties without prior written consent. This does not apply to information that is already publicly available or that is required to be disclosed by law.
9. Cancellation
Either party may cancel a project with written notice. If you cancel after work has commenced, you remain liable for payment of all work completed up to the date of cancellation, including any non-refundable deposit. If we cancel without cause, we will refund any amount paid for work not yet delivered.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vikn Studio Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising out of or in connection with our services, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity.
Our total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the relevant project. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
11. Warranties
We will perform our services with reasonable skill and care. We do not guarantee that deliverables will be error-free, or that any specific website performance metrics, search rankings, or traffic outcomes will be achieved. You are responsible for ensuring that your content complies with all applicable laws.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our website or engagement of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
